corrupt task pad

Whenever I try to add a task to my task pad, I get the following message: Could not complete the operation. One or more perameter values are not valid

I have created a new task pad (called Task1) but cannot get rid of the corrupt one and the new one will not sync with my Palm Pilot (Chapura Pocket Mirror)

Any suggestions on how to "uncorrupt" the original task pad OR get rid of the original task pad and get my palm to sync with the new task pad
