One of my bosses just asked me to come to his office to show him how to turn
on the BCC field in his Outlook 2003. Before I went in there I found the
feature on mine so I'd know ahead of time exactly what to show him, but as
it turned out, they're not in the same place. We're both running Office
2003; the only difference is I'm running Pro, manually installed, and he's
running Standard, installed via software installation GPO with an .mst file.
On my Pro installation, when I am composing a new email, my "Options..."
button has a down-carat on the right-hand side that displays a pull-down
menu; the bcc option is there. On my boss's Standard installation, his
"Options..." button has no carat, and in fact he has to go to the View menu
to find the bcc option. MY View menu looks dififerent and has no bcc
option. Is this an inherent difference between Pro and Std, or did I select
something in the Office CIW that has created this unintended side-affect?
If I'm to give training on navigating the features of Office 2003, I'd hate
to have to always second-guess myself because the interface might be
different on my installation than it is on theirs.
Thanks in advance,
Bryan
