Cost roll up to task

I'm working in project 2002. I have one instance where a resource cost isn't
rolling up to the task level. Consequently, my numbers are off. Any ideas?

Could you give us a little more information. For example, a labor
resource doesn't have cost, it has a pay rate. Non-labor resources have
a unit rate. Perhaps what you really mean is the cost associated with a
particular resource's assignment doesn't appear to be rolling up, but I
don't know. Also, is the resource of interest in fact assigned to any
tasks.
