I designed a web page in frontpage for a local club, and after it published
they asked for a hit counter. I used the built in counter as my site supports
fp extensions, it worked fine. However, i had to replace page with older one
due to a content issue. when i corrected the page and published (http) i set
the counter to higher number only to see it start at 1. I've tried removing
and adding and resetting count but cannot get it to work as it originally did.
I've looked at many posts and couldn't find the answer, but i did find
something about a / cnt file to open in notepad. I couldn't find this, so i
posted.
thanks for your help
