Crashes when pasting in Notes

PowerPoint seems to be crashing inexplicably but someone said it had
something to do with pasting in text from Word. We are not using a French
dictionary and cannot find any more information on what may be causing it.

Are you getting error messages?

Does PPT crash when you paste text in from Word, or are you doing something
else when it crashes?
