I have recently installed the brand new office 2007 and i have got no idea
how to record the macros i can run them by pressing the alt+f8 keys but then
i get a bit stuk on the recording bit. this is what i want the macro to do
for me: I want the macro to open another word document up when the macro is
run. I can do this in the previous version of office but i am a complete
begginner when it comes down to office 2007. Please please pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaze

Click on the round orange button on the status bar at the bottom of the
screen to record a macro.

I suggest that you learn how to write visual basic code rather than try and
rely on the macro recorder.
