Create a rule to send an email to my mobile phone

In "About managing messages with rules" it states "For example, you can create a rule that automatically sends an e-mail message to your mobile telephone when you receive a message from a family member.".

I've been successful in fowarding the received email to pager and/or mobile phone using their email address, but I would like to send just a short text or "dummy email" just to say that an email has arrived.

How can I accomplish the example used on your webpage short of forwarding the entire message or using a 3rd party addin?
