create/chaning forms and objects from code

I don't understand your question. Could you spell out more about what it is
you are trying to do? Are we talking about a document that has form fields
or about a UserForm?

Hi Eric,
Is that possible? If I want to create text boxes on the fly for instance?
Yes, it's possible. But if you want any more help on this, we need more
information, such as the version of Word involved, and exactly what kind of
form (UserForm, formfields form, ActiveX controls form) you want to
manipulate.

Hi!

Thanks for the reply (to both you and Charles). I'm primarily talking about
a UserForm and what I'm thinking about is creating text boxes dynamically
based on user input (ie if the user fills in a number then I want to create
that many textboxes). If it's possible, if it's not possible in UserForm
then I'd take any other suggestion as well.

Office version is 2003 but as always, if we can get things to work with
previous versions, no one is sorry...)

It can be done, but it's not trivial. Nor is it something I can easily point
you to or give an example, since I've only ever "played" with this, but never
actually used it. A colleague of mine investigated the functionality very
thoroughly, and wrote it up in a chapter of the "Word-Programmierung
Handbuch". But obviously, that's in German, so not much use to you...

Beyond that... There's a Knowledge Base article on microsoft.com that covers
the very basics
