Create folder with "Empty this folder" property

For several reasons I'm trying to create a folder that has the same
property as the "Deleted Items" folder and the "Junk E-mail" folder, where
a right click produces a "Empty ... folder" option.

I've tried copying and renaming the Deleted Items folder to no avail.

Any ideas?

AFAIK, it's not possible. If it were, you'd probably need to do some hacking
of the mapi properties on the folder.

I don't believe that's possible, at least with the GUI.

its more likely buried in the mailbox, not controlled by a registry key.

I'd be very surprised if this were the case. I believe it is code within
Outlook that handles those two folders differently.

thanks for the further response - I hate hard coded stuff when the registry
is designed (?) to allow flexibility...
