Creating a form

I am trying to create a form in Word 2000. My problem is I am testing the form and when I fill in some of the fields in Word it moves my next field to the next line even though there are enough spaces. Is there anyway to lock a field so it won't move.

There is. What you are talking about is what Word calls an "online form."
