I am using InfoPath 2007 web enabled forms with SharePoint 2007.
My clients have asked to have a copy of an existing InfoPath created
automatically.
My forms keep track of Commitments. Basically a commitment is something we
need do to on a certain schedule. For example, a commitment might be a report
that needs to be sent to a government agency every quarter. Each Commitment
form is made up of several views: the initial view to record the basic
Commitment information, the implementer view to record the actual work being
done and the approver view for the management person to approve the work the
implementer did.
What the clients would like is when the approver approves the form by
checking a check box and submitting the form to the library, that the system
would automatically create a new copy of the form for the next commitment in
the schedule.
So my question is, can I in code, make a copy of an InfoPath form and submit
it to the form library without having any user intervention?
Thanks in advance, and I hope the above is clear.
