Creating a Notebook Template in OneNote

I was redirected from the Templates forum to post my question about OneNote
Notebook templates here.

I'd like to create a Notebook template in OneNote but I am not having much
luck finding the details in either the online or built in help.

Can someone offer some suggestions? I would like to re-use an existing
Notebook that I have created.

I've made a perpetual calendar notebook for my garden. I also have
effectively the same thing that I use as a journal. It's a section group,
with each month being a section, each month has a page for each of the days
in the month. Every year I'd like to be able to open a new notebook for that
year's journaling. I thought it would make a good notebook template to
share. You can use Notebook templates when you select File:New:Notebook, the
wizard offers you a selection of Notebook templates.

See other examples of notebook templates at:

thanks for your help,

Gwen

Yeah! That is exactly the information that I needed.

I'm curious, is there a way to create a section group template?

thank you again!

I haven't found a way to create a section group template, but I haven't
tried very hard either. I wonder if you select a number of sections, save
them as a .onepkg and then go on as with a notebook template if that would
work...

No, that didn't work. Oh well, I have a work around.

I would like to submit two OneNote templates, one for a daily
journal/perpetual garden journal Notebook, the other is a section for a 31
day month which can be used to create a section group daily journal (you just
have to create a section group, add the section 12 times and delete the extra
days)

The template submission doesn't accept OneNote templates.

Do you know how I would go about submitting a OneNote template?

Thanks

I used to have a link to a page for submitting OneNote templates, but the
link doesn't work. Let me see what I can find out.
