Creating a Template.

I prepare my sermons using the Normal Template. I have created another template to convert this into a layout which is suitable for use in the pulpit. Basically the final printout uses a larger font and is landscape with two pages per sheet - i.e. when sliced becomes A5.

I can get the template to change the font, the font size and the orientation. But I can't get the template to also insert page numbers and to change to 2 pages per sheet - I have to do this manually every time.

Any suggestions

I would suggest that you start with the template you mean to use for
printing. If you work in Normal view, with the zoom ratio set to less than
100%, then the font size and "Two pages per sheet" setting will be
irrelevant.

What is it about the Normal template that you find easier? You've mentioned
that the font and page size are different. If you want a longer line length,
you can use "Wrap to window" in Normal view.

The problem is that it is easier to prepare the sermon using the Normal
template and onlt to attach the "printing" template when I have finished.

Then try creating a new document based on your sermon template and then
pasting the contents of your prepared sermon into the new document. (Like
Suzanne, I think you are making extra work for yourself, but that is your
choice.)
