Creating business cards in Publisher 2003

I have an HP C5280 all in one printer and I am trying to print business cards
(style 27881) in Publisher 2003. When I create my design and print, the
bottom of the design doesn't quite reach to the bottom of the card even
though it looks right on the screen. I went to Page Setup and chose Label,
then chose Avery 8871 Business Card but it is still off a little bit. I read
on this forum where someone changed their vertical measurement to 0.02 which
did seem to help when I tried that but it is still not quite right. The other
measurements are top .5, side .75 and horizontal gap at 0.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what else can be done to make the design
match up with the card layout? I thought if I stretched the design past the
card layout on the PC it would help, but it didn't.

Thanks,

You could layout your page manually and nudge the cards until they print
correctly on your printer. It would mean pasting the card 10 times in the space.
Use plain paper for the test.

Page Layout
Arrange menu, Layout guides, top/bottom margins .5, side margins .75. Grid guide
tab, two columns, 5 rows--- no spacing.

Ok. Thanks. Think it will be easier for me to just show the vertical gap as
0.02, it's pretty close to being just right. I appreciate the extra option
though.
