creating dual columns at the bottom of a page

I want my page to be normal until the bottom where I want
to have two or three seperate columns. Yet, I do not want
the table to be visible in the preview. Somewhat how yahoo
does their homepage. Is the only way to do seperate
columns is through tables? Once again, I do not want the
tables to be visible. Is there another way?

Create your 3 column table and in the table properties just set the border
to '0' to make the table not visable. Justify your content in each column
as desired and it should be what you want.
If you need greater separation between columns, just create a 5 column
table. Leave an empty column between those with content. Set the column
widths as desired.
