If you do like John suggests, and insert you tables as objects, each time
you update the Word file the PowerPoint slide will also update

| Hi John - Thanks for getting back to me. We have a huge amount of tables

| are using a software that automatically puts all the tables from Word into
| PowerPoint for us without having to cut and paste each one - the only
problem
| is it does not keep the tab settings. We still want to use this software
| since it makes the job of bringing the data in much faster, but need to
have
| decimal tabs set in columns because we have numbers that then have letter
| codes that follow them at times. So I was thinking maybe a macro to set
| decimal tabs and actually activate the tabs (Ctrl tabbing through). Not
sure
| if possible.
