Creating New Templates in Outlook02 and Up

Can anyone help? I am trying to create a new template with a company logo and and a scanned signature.With great difficulty I have managed to create a template in Outlook Express which is then available in Outlook. Unfortunately when I open the template in Outlook it tiles the logo all over the the page but the signature is fine. How can I stop this from happening? Incidentally, When I send my template from Outlook Express to a Lotus user the same thing happens.
