Creating PDF forms from Word docs

J

Jennifer Murphy

I would like to create PDF fillable forms from some Word documents. An
Internet search turns up quite a few tutorials using many different
approaches. Some of them are quite complicated.

Can someone point me to a good beginner's tutorial for fairly simple
forms to get me started?

I haven't had any experience with PDF forms myself (except for adding fields
to one that someone else created), so I'm also interested in this question.
I've been saving in my Inbox an email from Adobe that has links to several
tutorials on Acrobat forms, and the first one is a video that "explains how
to get started creating a form in Acrobat X" (I actually have Acrobat 9, but
I suppose much of the information would still apply). I haven't watched the
video, so I can't comment on it, but perhaps it offers something helpful.
Find it at
http://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/getting-started-creating-simple-forms?trackingid=IJBDA.
Another useful-looking one is "Grand Tour: Create a PDF Form" at
http://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/g...-and-edit-pdf-form-acrobat-x?trackingid=IJBDK.
On every page there is a link to quite a few other forms tutorials (mostly
videos, but also some text).
