Hi there-
I'm having a problem similar to one mentioned on this board several months
ago regarding a "Critical Error" message. Only one user (so far) is getting
this error but he gets it 100% of the time. The message says "An error
occurred submitting this form to the Web server. The form will now be
closed". That being said, the form still submits to SharePoint and generates
the appropriate emails (as instructed by my rules). In the old post in this
forum, the recommendation was to turn off submitting error messages.
That being said, I'm hesitant to turn off these error messages because what
if something else happens later and the data really doesn't go through? The
users of this form will not be able to check and see if their request went
through properly, so it is key that they receive notice if something fails.
Ideally I will figure out what is causing this message and then correct it.
Any ideas?
Let me know- THANK YOU!
