Crop marks

I am running Publisher 2002 SP3 on an XP Machine with a HP Laser 6l printer,
When I attempt to print a banner format document I do not get crop marks
printing even though I have the "Print crop marks" box checked.
BTW the layout setup is Page size 1.5 m, Overlap 0.25cm, Format Landscape,
and "allow bleeds" and "bleed marks" are also checked.

Any clues why I am not getting the crop marks printed??

Thanks

Why do you need crop marks? Just trim and glue. I don't think there ever was
crop marks on banners, posters yes, banners, no.

Crop marks would certainly make the trimming easier AND "Help" says that
they exist and shouls work!

Rex, Help also says this
Or, if your page (publication) size is almost as large as your paper size, the
crop marks might fall in the nonprintable region.

If you setup a poster, fill it with WordArt and look at the print preview you
will see the crop marks. Banners fill the entire page generally, crop marks will
not print because there is no place within your printer's margin limitations to
print the marks.

Now I understand why I didn't get crop marks when I printed this out one
time..

I didn't have enough paper to fit all of it on.. come to think of it, I
don't remember seeing the 'gogoch' bit either.. oh well.. :)

Ah, but you could have avoided all that if you used hyphenation. Did summer ever
arrive in your part of Canada?

I would never have been able to fit hyphens in as well..

We have already had a taste of 104F for a couple of days.. now expecting a
week and a half of huge heat sometime in the near future, and then it is
back to four wheel drive and power outages again.. gotta love Canada, eh..

As a kid, the valleys were always black.. dust everywhere, pitheads, and the
North was always wet.. last time I made the trip up from Pontypridd, through
the Rhonnda to the head of the Valleys and Brecon, then a fast ride up to
Cerrig, Blaenau, Bettws (stopping for a night or two at the Royal Oak) then
on to Lllanberis, Lllanfair PG and Holyhead where I learned to sail many
years ago..

In the south, the houses had been colored up, and the North was still wet..
some things never change, and in a way I am glad that they don't.. there is
so little of my past life still remaining, and what does remain, I doubt I
will ever see again.. Long life to the dragons of Yr Wydda and Cader Idris..
