Custom ActiveX + PowerPoint

Hello,

Please help me out for the following:

1) Creating a menu in Powerpoint
( I guess CommandBar would help me)

2) Inserting a Custom ActiveX Control on the slide at Run-
Time(ActiveX Control To be created in VB6. Can we do it
in VB.Net and use this control in PPT97 to XP2003?)

3) The activex control added on a powerpoint slide would
remain embedded and retrive the data from a database like
MSAccess or SQL Server.

I'm in deep trouble and not getting the acurate line of as
to how to proceed.

Please help!
