Custom filter for displaying only actual work

M

Marty

Hi,

I'm using a Project 2003 to only record actual work/time.

I need a custom filter that will let me display only the tasks that show
actual work entered for a specific time period, say 3/2 through 3/9. My task
list is simply buckets where I enter time as I work on them week to week.

I tried configuring a filter, but no luck so far. Please provide some
suggestions or the configuration for this type of filter.

Thank you so much.

Marty,
If that is all you are using Project for then you wasted you money,
Excel would be just as good. Nonetheless this filter should provide what
you want (Apply it in the Resource Usage view).
And/Or Field Test Value
Finish is greater than or equal to "Start of range"?
And Start is less than or equal to "End of range"?
And
Actual Work is greater than 0

Hope this helps.

John,

Thanks for the suggestion and quick post. It worked and I appreciate your
time.

I might not have provided enough information. I use Project periodically in
a normal fashion (employer supplied). It works well and it lets me avoid
creating an Excel sheet and all the macros that would be needed.

Thanks again,

Marty
