Custom Infopath form in Sharepoint 2007 workflow

Folks,

I have a form designed in Infopath 2007 with some promoted properties. I
want to use this form in a workflow (it would be better to be in Sharepoint
Designer, but if not possible, that's fine). I am struggling with it trying
with either content types or changing the workflow configuration files.

Has anybody accomplished that already? It would be very nice to have this
form working on a Sharepoint Designer-based workflow.
