Custom page layouts made in 2007 - Can they be used in 2003?

PPT 2003 user to use? And if so, how would the 2003 user import that layout

Unfortunately, they cannot be used in older versions in PowerPoint, because
the concept of layout and master are totally different. But you can transfer
the completed slides between the two versions.
