Custom Publication layouts

Help!

I'm new to Publisher. I have created a custom template to
suit my departement's needs. My problem is that I don't
know how to modify the Publication layout so when I'm
using the template and adding pages, I don't have to
adjust the text boxes every time.

How do I creat a template with it's own Publications
layout? The ones provided don't suit my need.

HELP!

Thank you for replying. Sorry for being unclear.

You know when you create a template in Powerpoint, you go
in the master and put whatever need be tp build it.
Images, text boxes...? Then when you add a slide it has a
text box so you can type in it.

I need to do the same thing in Publisher but don't know
how. I have created a template in Publisher but I don't
have the text boxes to type in when I add pages to my
project. All it gives me is a blue border around my page.

There are some default publication layouts but none of
them suit my need. How do I create my own publication
layouts?

Thank you for your help.

I wish I could set up a template like that for my newsletter. Unfortunately
sometimes the officers are feeling rather wordy and other times it's like
pulling teeth. :-(

You say you've created a custom template but you ask how to create a custom
template. I'm confused. What do you need to learn how to do?
