custom rules

I am trying to create a custom rule that will move emails
with expired dates to the deleted items folder.
Subsequently another rule to empty deleted items folder
after a certain date, any help would be appreciated!TIA

#1 will need to run manually, #2 is impossible with rules. You'll have
better luck using VBA. Or use Outlook's archive feature to delete expired
messages.
