Customize Outlook Today doesn't work.

After creating a new user on this PC (Win2000 running
OL2000) I can't get the Customize Outlook Today to work.
Don't know if there's any connection, but I also noticed
that there are now 2 occurances of the same .pst file in
the Folder List. Tried changing the .pst selected and get
the same result, nada.

I noticed a similar problem elsewhere in this newsgroup
that suggested the problem was the result of installing a
SR and indicated that we should look in the MS KB. I
tried that and couldn't find any reference to the problem
when searching for "customize outlook today" and other
variations.

Thanks in advance for you help.

Google search on "Cannot customize Outlook Today" now gives *19,900* hits.
Try that.

How did you search the KB? I've just done it and the relevant KB article is
third in the list of three.

Went back to KB and searched for "customize outlook today"
and didn't see anything. Searched under "outlook today"
and there's an article (Outlook Today Does Not Appear When
Selected, Article:193276) but it doesn't address my
problem. If you post the KB article #, I can go to it
directly. Thanks for your help.
