Customize your presentation (PPT 2003)

You can customize your presentation by selecting witch slides you like to
run. You save this with a specific name (under tools menu). I like to create
a CD (File menu) with a specific customize presentation (Not all the slides).
Is that possible or is it any other way to save a customize presentation
(with just the seleced slides)?

Short of selecting the slides you don't want then deleting them and saving
this new presentation. There are ways around something like this that the
average user would have no idea how to get around. For example, you could
save your entire presentation as a PPS file. In this presentation have a
menu slide that has titles and action buttons that run Custom Shows of the
selected slides you want (actually under the "Slide Show" menu). Also under
the Slide Show menu is an option for "Set up show". Here you can set your
presentation to be run as a KIOSK. This takes away all navigation
capabilities except for the buttons you provide. By creating a simple
action button on your first slide that goes to the next slide and
copying/pasting it on all slides, you will provide the controls to move on,
but your menu slide restricts them to only use the Custom Shows (and
therefore slides) that you want them to see. However, if someone knows
enough about PowerPoint they will realize they can open PowerPoint first
then open any PPS file and it will open in edit mode. If you really want to
secure a presentation there are options, but it is just as simple to create
a separate presentation of the slides you want.

That helps me but not all the way. If I want to be 100% sure that the no one
can access the presentation and see slides that are not in the Custom Shows,
is their any plugin (add-in) that takes a Custom Shows and saves it as a new
slideshow.
Than I can have a "master slideshow" that I always use but when someone
wants the presentation with a specific Custom Shows I save it as a new
slideshow.

No, it did not help me. The plug-in makes a new slide show with all slides
and not based an a Custom show and it creates pictures (jpg). I want a new
slide show with all animation and based on a Custom show.

Hi,

I found a product for making a presentation based on a Custom show, Shyam's
Toolbox. That product works great. Is PPTATK a simalar product?

I also have FileMaker Pro 7 which I like to get information from and into
PowerPoint. I lookt at the homepage and saw some demo presentations. Can
PPTATK do that?
