Customized fields with Graphic indicators

I am using a customized field which uses SV% to drive graphic indicators.
I am inserting subprojects into a program file and have also created a
customized field in the program file. The customized field, in the program
file, is using SV% to drive graphic indicators as well. All files are
baselined. The problem is that when I update the tasks in the subprojects,
all of the graphic indicators change automatically except for the task naming
the inserted file in the program file. To get that graphic indicator to
change I have to press the f9 key. Shouldn't this happen automatically as
well?
