Cut & Paste between word and outlook express

When I try to copy a block of text from MS word to an new email I was
composing, the format does not seem to be compatible. The size and font in
two program seem to be different. If I use "times new roman" in Word, after
I copied it to the outlook email, it would be much smaller. It also would
ignore the marget of the email I am composing. Some of the text will be
outside of the frame. What is happening here?

I am using word 2003(11.6359.6360) SP1 and outlook express 6

To avoid such situations I use PureText
(http://www.stevemiller.net/puretext/).
