CV & SV stoplight indicators

I am pretty new to MS Project 2003. I am trying to insert a status indicator
colimn for CV & SV to indicate if we are ahead, behind, or on target. I have
reviewed #14 & #15 on Tech Trax and I can get the column with the indicators
but it either shows all red or yellow and it is not changing when the actual
cost changes. Any suggestions on what I am missing on the setup for
graphical indicators?

Please give us the details on:
What fields are you using for the stop-light indicators?
What formulas are you using in the fields?
What is your criteria settings for the graphic indicators?

Also, earned value data is dependent upon Project Status date. Are you
updating the status date?

That will help us troubleshoot any problems.
