data in a textbox ends at the first space

When I populate a textbox with data from a database, the text is truncated at
the first space

How do you populate?

Give us an example of what is returned from the DB and how is it
displayed in the textbox.

If you are using script to assign the the returned text, are using
quotation marks to delimit the assigned value.

For HTML tags tat take atributes and values, if you don't delimit the
attributes by quotation marks, the value will be whatever you have up to
the first space. E.g.,

value="some text"
gets you "some text"
value=some text
gets you "some"

You are passing " within the submit text, and that is what is cause the problem.
