data view assistance

I am using Frontpage 2003 and I have a data view that is properly
displaying the data and its associated hyperlink from a separate XML
data field. However, it is currently showing that a link is available
for all data rows even when there is no hyperlink data available -- I
would like to have it do the following:

If the <URL data field> is NULL do not allow the user to click on a
hyperlink
if the <URL data field> is not NULL allow the user to click on a
hyperlink
