database password

I downloaded accounting ledger database template from the MS Office Website
and it require a password to open. please help

You are mistaken as I have just downloaded it and it opens just fine and
nothing is locked. You have access to all the database object including vba
code. Try downloading it again using the link provided below

Have you at some point used Workgroup Security to secure a database? If so,
you may still be joined to the workgroup (.MDW file) with the usernames and
passwords for that database. Use Tools... Security... Workgroup Administrator
to join the default C:\Windows\System32\SYSTEM.MDW workgroup.

If none of this makes any sense then you probably didn't <g>...
