Seeing the knowledge of those helping others at this site,
I wanted to ask what may be a tough question. Using
Frontpage 2002, what is the easiest way to collect email
addresses at my site and have them automatically go to a
database. Also who do you feel is the best yet least
expensive host company to use with Frontpage 2002. Thanks
for any and all suggestions!

Steve -

Its a very easy question, actually.

Depending upon how you want to use this info in the future, you might
consider creating a form in FrontPage and then directing the results to
either a flat file (text), an Excel file or an Access database. All three
can easily be imported into Outlook to do mailings.

I host websites with FP server extensions and also provide e-mail hosting. A
very robust solution (semi-dedicated servers) at shared hosting prices. You
can get my contact info off of www.sites2see.com if you would like a quote.
Won't post it here because the e-mail address gets scoured by spammers and
the like.

Thanks,
Rich

Thanks for the quick response Mr.Palarea. I want to store
email names and then send information to those people.
(Only other kids that ask for the information). Is either
one of the methods you showed better than the other. Where
do I look to see instructions to set this up. I saw some
info at Frontpage and got a little confused. I'm doing
this for a school project and the teacher will verify the
information. (I'm in an accelerated class dealing with
this project. I'm only 11 but eager to learn. Most have
said I took on too much with the project. Do you think
this may be too much for 11)
