Date Malfunction

I have created a workbook in excel with 10 spreadsheets
and over 2000 entries in every spreedsheet. I am now
trying to change the date from mm/dd/yy to Yyyy/Mmm/Dd.
The problem I am having is when formatting the date it
returns a wrong year month and date in total. I have
tried checking the 1904 date system and unchecking it,
formatting text to date etc etc etc. Can someone help me
please I dont know what to do.

How are you trying to change the date format? If you are sending it overseas
no need for date
format change since the user's regional settings will take care of it.
Having said that changing the date format to yyyy/mmm/dd (no need for any
caps involved, makes no difference)
works for me.
