When she bought her unit it came with XP. At church we have a 100 person
license of MS Office Pro to which she has been added. She wants to have
Outlook by adding Office Pro. Will this function properly?

If you mean she has Office XP installed without Outlook, and she wants to
install Outlook from 2000, then yes it should work although it's always
better to install Office products from oldest to newest. Be mindful that
only one version of Outlook will work on a single computer at a time, and
that it won't work to use a different version of Word as an email editor for
Outlook.

If you mean she has Windows XP and wants to use Office 2000, then yes it
will work.
