deactivation of office

I am miagrating from an old no longer network connected Windows machine to a
new Laptop machine. I have 2003 MS Office Professional on the old machine I
do not know how to deactivate the software so I can install it on the new
machine. When I tried to install on the new machine I got an error message
about not having any free activation keys. How do I free up all my activation
keys so I can activate the software on my new laptop?

Uninstall from the old machine, then use the telephone method of activation
on the new machine and explain the situation to the operator.
