Defalt slide design

Hi everone and have a Happy Holiday. We are switching from Power Point 2000
to 2003. I would like to open with a "BLANK " slide as default each time PP
opens. I have tried changing the master, but the next time PP is open it is
not a "BLANK" Can this be acomplished??

Thank you Bill and Sonia. Now Power Point opens with a BLANK SLIDE but not
the next inserted slide. Sonia I followed your instructions but when I insert
a new slide I still get a "TITLE BOX and a TEXT BOX" not a blank slide. I
have tried several time with same results. Thanks Ed

Did you go into the Slide Master and select the "Blank" slide layout and
save that as your "blank.pot"?
