Default databases in Project Server 2007

Jon

I'm setting up Project Server 2007 to SharePoint 2007 with SQL 2005
Standard using the small farm guidelines but on a single server using
the default instance of SQL.

I ran through the installation wizards for project 2007 and SharePoint
2007 and these databases were not created:

ProjectServer_Published
ProjectServer_Working
ProjectServer_Archive
ProjectServer_Reporting

These databases were created:

SharePoint_Config
SharePoint_AdminContent_xxxxyyyyzzzz

I uninstalled project server, blew away the SharePoint db's in SQL,
created the first four manually, set the collation type
Latin1_General_CI-AS-KS-WS, and reinstalled project and sharepoint.

Checking the ProjectServer_* db's there are no tables.

Is there another set up routine that initializes Project Server?

Where/When/How do these databases get created and populated with
Project Server 2007 specific templates or content?

The databases get populated when you provision a new site, and of course they
are polulated when you save / publish / archive projects.

Cut and pasted from another post of mine a couple months ago:

After installing Project Server, you need to configure it. This
includes creating the the SSP site and the PWA site.

Here are some links for installation and configuration instructions:
Start here:
http://technet2.microsoft.com/Office/en-us/library/65b96c9d-67e1-4e5b...

The best guide I have found for installing Project Server 2007 is
either the "Deploy Project Server 2007 to a server farm environment"
technet doc:

http://technet2.microsoft.com/Office/en-us/library/5892547e-7c7d-4a7f...

or the blog entries by Tony Zink:
http://www.pptspaces.com/msprojectreporterblog/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?...

If you are installing Project Server 2007 for the first time, I would
plan on installing it at least twice to get up to speed. First follow
Tony Zink's instructions in a stand alone environment. There you won't
need to worry about security as much. Once you've got that
installation working, then install with domain service accounts and
minimal priveleges, which will probably cause a new set of challenges.
