Default E-mail account keeps changing

I have an Exchange server account and a POP3/SMTP
account. I want the POP3 as my default e-mail account
for sending mail. Even though the POP3 is set as default
every so often things switch and the Exchange account
becomes the default. What's up and how do I stop this?

We'll be switching to the Exchange account exclusively in
a few weeks but until then it is a real pain.

FWIW, Exchange and POP/IMAP don't get along in the same profile because
there is no sound solution to what you describe other than put each in their
own profile. (Later versions of Outlook [2002/2003] are better in managing
this, but still do odd things when both are in the same profile.)
