Default font size?

I feel embarrassed to ask this but I can't find where to set the default
font size (plain text) for both new messages and replies in Outlook 2000.
Help please.

Tools->Options->Mail Format Tab->Fonts.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

The reason I didn't see it before is that the fonts button is dimmed and
cannot be chosen. I tried the other options instead of plain text but the
font choice is still dimmed. Any ideas?
