Default fonts

Thanks for your previous reply Charles (under the 'normal.dot' thread).
I will restrict this post to one question.

Using W98 and Word 2000 with SP3. Trying to sort out default fonts. I
want to set a normal font and that is OK, can use default and understand
that all OK. But how to set a particular font for comment references
and comment text that will also come up in every new document. Every
change I try to make alters the main text! Also, in styles I see
'Modify' is greyed out with paragraph style. Why, and how can I change
that?

Still on this, can someone list the things that Word remembers of your
preferences that are NOT put in normal.dot (and where ARE they put?).
It seems to 'remember' some other changes I make.

Thanks

No time for first part. Most other preferences are stored in the Data
registry key.

You need to modify the Comment Reference and Comment Text styles and save
the changes to Normal.dot by checking the "Add to template" button.
