I am unable to change the format of my mail.

In the Tools>Options>Mail Format window I can not check "Use Microsoft word
to edit e-mail messages".

Soes anyone know why? All my emails are being shown in plain text and it
really sucks

Either way it's the exchange server I'm on. They've disabled HTML formatting.
Thanks anyway.

Those settings are unrelated. There is a registry setting in Outlook 2002
that allows you to force to convert all messages to Plain Text. Verify that
this hasn't been set with OutlookTools (free)
