Default numbering of recurring tasks

When I setup a recurring task in project 2003, it appends a sequential number
to each recurring task. Is there a way to change the text that gets
appended or do away with it all together?

For example, we setup recurring bi-weekly project team meetings and the
system numbers them Team meeting 1, Team meeting 2, Team meeting 3. We
number meeting minutes from these meetings as meeting 1 minutes, meeting 2
minutes, meeting 3 minutes, etc. If for some reason meeting 2 doesn't
happen, the minutes from meeting 2 will correspond to meeting 3 on the
schedule. This gets confusing if there are many of these or if the project
is long. We'd like to just have the recurring meetings show up as Team
meeting, Team meeting, Team meeting, etc. and then add the number after the
meeting is held.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the help Rod. Is there a way to prevent the autonumbering of the
tasks though?
