default paste: formatted text?

I'm trying to figure out how to set the default "paste" command to paste
formatted text. It would be such a great timesaver, since I never want to
paste unformatted text (within PP) and so I have to go through two or three
steps to either "paste special" or "keep text formatting"..etc...each time.
TIA for any advice!
