How to automatically 'Paste Special' / 'Unformatted Text'

H

Henrik

When I copy/paste, in 99% of the case I want to paste without the formatting.
That obviously makes 'Paste Special' / 'Unformatted Text' a tedious exercise
to do every time.

Is there a way to set up the default to be pasting without formatting?

Thanks
Henrik

No, but you could easily create a macro and add it to a toolbar button or
keyboard shortcut

Sub PasteUnfText()
On Error GoTo oops
Selection.PasteSpecial _
DataType:=wdPasteText, _
Placement:=wdInLine
End
oops:
Beep
End Sub
