Default Project Server 2007 security appears to be incorrect

I'm looking at a fresh install we did a while for which the security
permissions have not been changed.

Right now, I'm looking at the "My Projects" category for Project
Managers.

According to the default, it appears that if the user is Status
Manager on certain assignments of a project or they are on a project
team, they can:

1. Accept task update requests
2. Build team on project
3. Edit project properties in project center
4. Open project (in Project Pro)
5. Publish project
6. Save project to project server
7. Save protected baseline

Am I reading this wrong? I thought you had to be the owner to perform
4,5,6, and 7 at the least?

Thanks,

Andy --

Essentially, a project is "My Project" if I am:

1. The Owner of the project.
2. The Status Manager for at least one task in the project.
3. A team member in the project.

Hope this helps.

Hi Andy,
AFAIK, to be a status manager you have to be part of the PM group, as you
need to open the project and then assign yourself as the status manager. So,
it would make sense....
