Default Reading View - attached word docs

When a word 2003 doc is attached to an Outlook 2003
email, it opens up by default in 'reading view' (4 pane
display)...can this be changed?

Since the normal.doc is not set this way, I believe this
to be an Outlook setting, but I can't find any
information on it.

Help?

Nope, Word setting.

Tools-> Options-> tab General-> Allow Starting in Reading Layout

It's a Word setting -- Tools | Options | General | Allow starting in Reading
layout

Gary,

Go into word, in "Options" - "General", and there you
need to deselect "Allow starting in Reading layout".

Worked for me.
