delay for file box open and save as is opened

When I open a document - and when I click 'save as' it takes a long time,
before the box open/ save as appears on my screen.
Microsoft says on its site
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;839883&spid=2488&sid=307 that I
need to update the latest update, but when I do so, it tells me that I have
already installed the latest update.

Can anyone help?

I have read the post of 10/15/2005 - about the printer and other drives,
which might cause the problem - however this is not the case in my problem...
The printer is always on, and I have no other drives installed... So the
problem still exists...
